Wednesday, 13 September 2017

The final QSL Grower Representative Member position for the Burdekin has been declared, after a tie necessitated a second round of voting earlier this month.

Roger Piva joins Mark Vass, Owen Menkens and Russell Jordan as the fourth elected Grower Representative for the Burdekin.

QSL Managing Director and CEO Greg Beashel congratulated Roger on his appointment.

“I welcome Roger as the latest QSL Grower Representative Member elected by his industry peers and look forward to continuing to work with him over the next three years,” he said.

Mr Beashel said the Grower Members serve an important role within QSL.

“Our Grower Members help us connect with our Growers about issues affecting them on the ground.  This feedback is key to ensuring we respond with the right mix of products and activities, helping us to maximise the value we deliver to the industry we serve.”
